Be Respectful and Kind To Others

If you had a super nice pair of sneakers would you run them through the mud? or cut a hole in them? No! You would be careful with them you would respect them and be good to the shoes, because they're valuable.

Well you're way more valuable than a pair of shoes. We want others to respect us and be kind to us. Other people are valuable too! We should treat people with respect and kindness.

In our Bible lesson today we saw a huge crowd of people gathering to welcome Jesus. Why did they gather? Because Jesus was known for his kindness! He treated everyone with respect. That why so many people were at his triumphal entry. They respected him because he was kind to people and cared for them! Jesus asks us to be kind too! He said "By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:35

People will know we are christians by the way we treat people. Would people know you're a christian by the way you respect other people? By your kindness?

There are always ways that we can be kind to those around us. Maybe helping your mom, telling your siblings they a good job, telling your teacher thank you, helping your classmates clean up a mess! We can always be Kind and Respectful!

Maybe you struggle with being kind. You can ask God for his help today!
