Get R.I.C.H. : Receive Great Things From God

There are a lot of people in life that want to get rich. Everyone wants fancy things and lots of money. Today we learned that God also wants us to be rich, but not necessarily with those kinds of riches. There is something more important than just being rich in earthly things like money and having stuff... And that's being rich in heavenly things; being rich in the things of God.

Our memory verse today is found in Matthew 6:19-20

"Don't store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. But store your treasures in heaven..."

God has got so many great things that He wants to give you, things that are a free gift from Him. And God wants you to receive those great gifts from Him but the only way that you can receive these great things from God is you must first let go of what you're holding on to. There are a lot of things that some of you are holding on to that you've got to let go of if you want to receive from God.

For some of you you've got to let go of the hate that you have in your heart towards people. You've got to let go of unforgiveness. You've got to let go of your reputation maybe. For some of you, you've got to let go of your bad attitude. Once you've let some of those things go, that's when you can start receiving the good things from God. You can start really receiving God's love for you and for others.

What you receive from God doesn't cost you anything and will completely fill you up.
