God Loves You

Hoppy Easter!!! He is Risen!!!

On Easter we celebrate that Jesus died and rose from the dead! Why did he have to die though?

Well all the way in the beginning God created humans and He loved us very much! The first two people, Adam and Eve, spent all of their time with God in a huge garden he made for them. There was only one rule:

"Don't eat from the knowledge of Good and Evil" and they broke that rule! The first sin happened and it led to us being separated from God. Humans were the most special thing he ever created, and we had "slipped through his fingers", or so we thought.

That sin ruined everything and now every person was marked by sin. The bible says "The wages of sin is death" so there was a price to be paid and we couldn't do it on our own.

God loves us so much that he sent his son to die on the cross for our sin. He rose from the dead and showed that he conquered death and sin!

Now all of that sin can be removed!! All we have to is accept Jesus' sacrifice and ask for forgiveness from our sins!

Do you believe that Jesus died and rose from the dead? Do you believe that God loves you? Do you want forgiveness for your sins?

"Happy Easter Jesus. I believe you died on the cross for my sins, and rose from the dead. Thank you for loving me. I want to live for you. Please forgive for my sins and help me to follow you! I want you to be the Lord of my life. I love you God. In Jesus name, Amen."
