Jesus Died For Me

Every week we go over the 4 Most Important Things.
1. God loves me
2. I have sinned
3. Jesus died for me
4. I need to decide to live for God

This week we're talking about number 3. Jesus died for me!
Jesus was a real man, who really lived a perfect life, and really died for our sins. (You can read the whole story of how he died in Luke 23)
You see, our sins - the things we have done wrong, our disobedience to God - separated us from God like a wall. But when Jesus died on the cross for our sins that wall was removed with our sin. Because of this we can have a relationship with God and Jesus forever! God did all of this because he loves us! God knew someone would have to pay the price for our sin, so as we read in the bible.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16

Jesus was the perfect sacrifice for our sin. Don't forget he didn't stay dead. 3 days later Jesus rose from the dead! It was a miracle!
Now we have to decide if we will accept what Jesus did for us. Do you accept and believe that Jesus died for you?
