You Have The Ability To Influence Others
So many people look at the world and think they can't do anything about the problems in the world. The truth everyone has the ability to change the world - not the whole world, but the world around them. They can impact their friends, family, and those in their community! That ability is called influence! God has given us all the power to influence other, but how do we choose to use that power? For good? Or bad?
In our bible lesson today we saw that Delilah influenced Samson in a bad way and destroyed his life. She used her power for evil not good, and Samson fell for it! Don't be a bad influence like her.
You can be a positive influence! You can be encouraging to those around you. You can be a good example not doing wrong things, but good stuff in front of your siblings and friends. Obeying your parents and teachers. Not fighting. Telling the truth. Helping others. All of this is good, but the best thing you can do to influence people around you is tell them about what you learn in the bible and what you learn in church! Tell them about Jesus!
Our Memory Verse this week is:
“Don’t withhold good from those who deserve it when it is in your power to help them.” Proverbs 3:27
