David Visits His Brothers

Read: 1 Samuel 17:12-20
When David had grown up a bit the Israelites had a war with the Philistines. His older brothers were a part of the Israelite army and they had to stay on the battle field. They couldn't leave to get food so David would bring them food on the front lines. He wasn't feeding the whole army but he was helping his brothers which was a big deal! Remember he was still young but he played a very important role. You may be young but that doesn't mean you can't help. You don't have to be grown up to do good. The most important thing is that we show God's love in everything we do. So this week pray and ask God how you can show his love to people around you! Remember God loves you so much!
