Samuel Listens and Obeys

Read: 1 Samuel 3
Sometimes it's hard to know if God is speaking to us or not. Are we hearing him "correctly"? Samuel went through the same thing when he was a boy! In the middle of the night, Samuel heard a voice call his name twice! Thinking it was Eli, the priest, Samuel ran to his room. Eli told Samuel he did't call him, and that it could be the voice of God! The third time Samuel heard the Lord call his name he said, "Speak, for Your servant hears." It was a process of learning to hear the voice of God, and be available to God! God wants to speak to you to, you just need to listen and obey! Maybe you'll hear God talk to you like Samuel, He could put a thought in your mind while you pray, or maybe it will be through reading God's word, the Bible. However he may speak to you always remember God loves you so much!

"Come and listen to the words of the Lord." Joshua 3:9
