The Fruit Of The Spirit Is Joy

The second fruit of the spirit is Joy. The Joy of the Lord is your strength!

A lot of people think Joy and Happiness are the same, but they are different!

Happiness changes from situation to situation.

Imagine you got a new car, or sneakers, or a million dollars! You'd be pretty happy right? Well when you start having to put in that new car, and fixing it. That happiness will change! When those sneakers wear out or another cooler pair comes out the happiness goes away. When you spend that money your happiness will be spent with it. Happiness never lasts because it's attached things that never last.

King Solomon knew that no amount of stuff or money could fill that hole in his heart. He needed the Joy of the Lord that came from being obedient to God.

Joy is based on Jesus and he never changes. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. That's why the Joy of The Lord is our strength. It is there no matter what is going on in our lives. It will lift you up!

Having a good day? Joy is there. Having a bad day? Joy is there!

The Joy of the Lord of will be there to keep you strong in tough times!
