Be Like Jesus - See Problems As a Chance For God To Do Something
Everyone deals with problems! Big problems, little problems, money problems, health problems. You got problems. I got problems. It can feel overwhelming!
Did you know Jesus had problems too? Jesus was a person on this earth just like you & me & He was faced with problems, too.
But it's interesting to see how Jesus saw His problems. Did He see them as overwhelming obstacles, too difficult to deal with? Frustrating things that made Him want to pull His hair out? Impossibilities? I'lI tell you what Jesus saw when He was faced with problems... He saw a chance for God to do something.
Money problems, He saw a chance for God to provide coins in the mouth of a fish; health problems, He saw a chance for God's power to heal & restore; food problems, He saw a chance for God to miraculously provide thousands of people with food from just a few loaves of bread; weather problems, He saw a chance for God to calm a raging storm.
Jesus saw problems as a chance for God to do something. And you & I need to be like Jesus - that means that you need to see problems as a chance for God to do something.
You see, with God, there is no problem that is too big.
No problem that is impossible. No problem that has no answer to it - God can always do something!
When you pray, when you trust Him with your life & your problems, God is able to do all things & nothing is too big or too strong to stand against Him. Nothing is impossible for God.
And that's what today's memory verse from Mark 10:27 says....
"With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God."
So next time you're faced with a problem, you need to stop & think, "this is a chance for God to do something in my life." It's a chance for Him to prove that He is strong & mighty, that He can work all things together for my good, that He can give me peace even when I feel like things are crazy all around me, that He can do a miracle in my life. You don't have to know how God will work it out, you just need to trust that He can & He will. Be like Jesus & see problems as a chance for God to do something.
Our Memory Verse This Week is: “With man this is impossible, but not with God; with God
all things are possible.” Mark 10:27
