Satan Will Tempt You

Temptation is anything that makes you want to sin. Maybe it's a friend trying to talk you into cheating on a test, or you see something in a tv show that makes you want to disobey your parents, or there's that feeling inside you that makes to want to hit that mean kid at school. It's tempting you to sin. The temptation is the problem, everyone is tempted, even Jesus! It's if we fall for that temptation and sin that the problem.

It's like cheese in a mouse trap. For the mouse to just want the cheese isn't a problem, that's the temptation, but if it goes for the cheese it will spring THE TRAP!!!! The mouse will get hurt, or worse, it could get killed!

What is the thing the devil likes to tempt you with? Stealing, lying, maybe gossiping?

I know there can be lots of temptation, but I have some good news. God said he would give us a way out! He promises to give us an escape from the temptation so that we don't sin. We just have to ask him for his help, and obey him instead of sinning! Trust me it's just gonna hurt if you fall into that sin trap!

Satan will tempt you but ask God to give you the strength to take the way out!
