Be Faithful To God
faith·ful
/ˈfāTHfəl/
adjective
1. remaining loyal and steadfast.
Faithful is a word that has lost it's value. Being faithful in school, to your family, or to God. When we decide to live for God we need to be faithful to him.
In our bible lesson for the day we learned about a man named Daniel who worshiped God and prayed to him 3 times a day! When some crooked lawmakers passed a law that said it was illegal to pray to God Daniel kept praying. He was faithful to God even when he could get in trouble, and he got in big trouble! They arrested him and threw him in the lions' den! But because he was faithful to God, God was faithful to him. God protected Daniel and shut the lions' mouth! When the king came back to check on Daniel in the morning, and saw that God protected him, he arrested the bad guys and said that the whole world should worship God!
Would we be faithful to God even if it could get us in trouble? What if kids made fun of you for it? or even worse what if your family doesn't love God?
We need to be faithful to God not just with our words but with our actions. Loving God and others through what we do! Reading God's word, serving others, obeying your parents, and praying to God!
Will you be faithful to God no matter what?
Our Memory Verse this week is:
“…serve Him with all faithfulness.”
Joshua 24:14
